Last Thursday my Interior Design class was invited to attend the IIDA fashion show put on by local schools and design firms. It was completely free for us and definitely an amazing experience. Lots of networking opportunities, wine and a good show. Everyone in the fashion show had to design an outfit from a specific time period made completely out of commercial fabric (much harder to sew than clothing fabric). There were two categories, the design firms and the student classes. Im proud that my school won! and my favorite costume by a firm won. The one made of multicolor fabric sewed into roses.
